The Subways STOP!

Is old wine better than new whine?

Yes, it makes me wanna:

Hideaway with The Weepies

The title says it all. You just want to hide away with The Weepies’ brand new album ‘Hideaway’. An album which according to the folk pop duo themselves is supposed to be a “darker companion to their last album”.

How anything can be “darker” than the opening lyrics (“Woke up, wish that I was dead”) from their previous hit ‘World Spins Madly On' beats me, and IMO they’re as gloomy (in a pleasant enough way) as they’ve always been. Music for a rainy day, for a relaxing Sunday and for spring.

Only time will tell if there are songs on the album to get them on TV-series like Scrubs, Grey’s Anatomy and Gossip Girl again.

Shout Out Louds - Impossible

They are Swedish, the lead vocalist Adam Olenius sounds "just a tad" like Robert Smith of The Cure, and they have recently released the second single from their second album 'Our Ill Wills' which CAME OUT OVER A YEAR AGO (go figure!). It's nice enough. Take a look and listen at 'Impossible':

The Beautiful Enemies

Here's a vid of The Enemy performing their new single 'This Song Is About You' live at Union Chapel. I'll just let the music sing for itself.

My hearts beat sonically

For good things in life; love, good weather, Guinness and music. And for the Liverpudlian five-piece The Sonic Hearts.

They've just released the single 'To Be Someone', and are recieving mixed reviews from "boring, boring, boring" to "pleasant and nice". I favor the last. Especially after hearing the other songs on the single, which you can listen to below (oh, and remember to tell me what you think).

To Be Someone:

Cut Yer Hair (I love the title, especially if you pretend to be Jamie Carragher while saying it outloud):

Hollow & Blue:
